I'm always averse to tossing out things that could be useful. Especially if there are already nicely installed.
Been scratching my head for a couple days wondering what I could do with the suction pump.
- keep it as a low power wet vac?
- use as a powered shower tub drain?
- powered grey tank dump?
Given that I plan to use it in winter as a basecamp for ice climbing and skiing, being able to suck up random wet spots would be handy.

We all have appliances left over from decommissioning, and, while the vacuum is tempting, I think using its motor is probably more effective repurposing. It’s too low-power for a wet vac, but yeah, it could be an evacuation suction pump without contaminating it.
